We had buyers lining up to buy GE Capital’s assets. Because GE Capital produced astounding revenue for the company. Buyers are still interested in some of Capital’s remaining businesses like GECAS. What about GE Digital? I don’t see buyers lining up. Selling GE Digital is like selling a used car for twice as much as it is worth.

As bad as Ruh’s Reign has been, it is not the primary reason for GE’s decline. A broader pattern of poor strategic decisions - business focus, ill considered M&A, financial engineering - is what led is here. We can’t just conveniently blame Immelt either. The board is/was equally accountable.
IP zero on outsourced services like network automation carried out by microland. Nothing in midrange.

Like most people I wake up everyday and say how in the heck did I end up in the position. Bad dream?
Many moons ago I hired in and people would be like awesome, you work for GE. For years, the job was fantastic. Great smart coworkers. Challenging rewarding work. Cream of crop.
Now I feel like a portable toilet cleaner just waiting to be cast off in the next pickup of sh--. Please lay us off to put us out of this misery. And for you people that say just leave - no. Pay me out and then I leave. I’ve given years of my life to a company that was supposed to be the best and screwed me.
