Second wave of VERP is three weeks away. Let's see how great ADP will be after that, of course the last round is March. A lot of business knowledge is leaving, you can't get that back from the folks that you are trying to hire today.

They have changed some employees ret date from March to oct 5. They just told employees on 9/24. Really. They give them a 2 week change of date. ADP WTF are you doing to these employees.
I was in a Mainframe group in Roseland also. I was terminated in the beginning of April 2018.... no ER was offered to me just severance. There are just 2 people left.....even my ex-manager was let go and 1 of the 2 people left works out of state remote. She was told that she must move back to a ADP Corp center or be terminated. No more working remote. She must decide by December 1st. Doubt very much that she will relocate which means my old group was hit 90%.......and I know the 1 associate left cannot do all the workload and will probably move on from ADP for greener pastures .....100% group gone!
Thank you Carlos. You have no clue as to what you have done.
I left June accepting the ER package and everyone of my felllow associates who were offered the ER took it are gone or will be gone by March after the year end freeze. So I know my area 7 out of 9 are gone or going and I know the Planning & Utilities group all but 2 took the ER, some under 55 were just let go with severance in April/ May. Come October some ZOS/MF areas wil be close to 8 out of 10 people gone.....some COBOL\CICS groups are losing all but 2 people out of 6 plus their manager. Maybe not 90% but very close to what was posted depending upon the MF area...
....and the MF SA group 2 are left, I think out of 10...both under 55. Management will be leaving in March....that would make it 2 out of 11 left. They will merge into another group with only 2 people left also. So that number for many MF groups at Roseland NJ is not off by much......insane wealth of IT knowledge. Even some Senior VP folks are out also.
And if you go back to 2012 when this all started it is very close to 80-90 % in many MF areas.I was there 26 years myself. There is no replacing us.....
Didn't think it was 90%. Regardless same issue exist in all the MF groups. Can't hire a cobol programmer and expect them to produce at the same level. Interesting times are ahead. Hope the next generation software is ready. If not they'll have some serious issues to contend with.
Yes, but not only business knowledge but Mainframe 'technical' knowledge that can never be replaced. At Corp Roseland about 90% or more of them will be gone by 3/2019.
What a disaster this is going to turn into.....!
