Long story short - CA made an offer this week to join one of non mainframe products in ITC Hyderabad. The interview panel was nice and compensation is good. Only concern is that i'm relocating with family and not sure if I need to pickup given the rumors. Any suggestions?

I would stay away from joining the sinking ship
Stay off for the following reasons
The CA brand in enterprise will not be there any more.
Except for the mainframe other parts of the businesses for "Broadcom further as CA" will fade away.
(It is better to join competitor ).
All good people are leaving , those who remain are either there with no choice or thinking it is an opportunity or will leave after certain time.
They end up forced to fight to increase business , which is pressured by meeting target margins end of it - is pain/stress/unnecessary , not good for big family decisions.
Folks ITC may grow - but business may/will not in short term for Non Mainframes.
Competitors will grow theirs.
The above is very likely to happen , and Hock realizes to divest in short term. Again leading to same chaos.
You are better off where you are with your family !!. Good luck.
I'd take it. worst case scenario you find out you're being laid off soon and now you have a license to slack off
Honestly anything non-mainframe is likely to be sold off. Might be on Nov 5th, or 6 months or a year. But I wouldn’t touch any job in CA right now, especially if it means relocating your family.
I would accept the job. ITC is growing, many a product are moving here from NA. My own Team has expanded becoz of new projects and we forcast more to come as NA is downsized.
CA has its problems but its now probably best time to be in ITC.
Take the job. Its well known fact PM's in india do a whole lot of nothing. Well except cashing their paychecks.
They will prob move all dist to ITC and mf to PTC.
