will there be a replacement for RSUs, ESPP?

Yeh not traded publicly like Cisco but IPO is the plan so there's nothing stopping granting of options. Won't cost the company anything and will help to create some sense of ownership which is severely lacking right now. You reading this SynaHR? I really hope so.
these questions are silly.
Bonuses - why? why does anyone think they should get one? Does the overall company performance justify it?
RSUs - not relevant, you are no longer in Cisco
ESPP ditto
and why do you think that anyone has any obligation to tell you about these things or to give you them?
There is no profit to share. There is no success. You can share in that if you like.
What are you going to do if you don't like it? leave.
Pay reductions soon. Will have to reapply for Sam job but less salary. “Do more with less”.
New hires in Staines were being told that some kind of equity program is in the works.
If you were good, or senior, or both, you got far more $$$ from Cisco than from NDS. I don't know about SA.
OP - you fell for thane? Mug. Same thing that Cisco said. What happened in fact was our options disappeared down the drain and we got almost nothing in return. Some sh--ty ESPP scheme and vastly less RSU than what the shares would have been worth. You have been MUGGED as there is nothing you can do about it.
I'm not expecting to get ESPP or RSU, but they said they will provide replacements.
@show me the money
ESPP is an American company thing. Is Synamedia American.? As for RSU Is Synamedia about to be listed on a stock market, which it would need to be to give you share options?
even is Cisco a bonus wasn't a sure thing
but we knew at what date bonuses are announced, we knew according to grade level what is the bonus expected bonus percentage.
there are also clear dates for salary discussions and a clear process.
there is also the issue of RSU and ESPP.
it has nothing to do with being naive or not, as an employee, knowing what you can expect should be obvious , nobody is doing us any favours.
@show me the money
Your bonus was because the company was making money, hopefully the new leadership can help synamedia make money, but it won't happen overnight. Expecting the same perks when the company now has to stand on its own is naive.
I don't understand the moaning comment.
while working for Cisco, my compensation was X (including all types of bonuses and privileges )
now I'm a part of a new company I'm entitled to know what is my compensation, thats not moaning.
and yes if my new compensation is (X -y) I will leave, which is the sensible thing to do.
but they should publish this data as for its pretty important.
Clearly part of the new management team and/or Synamedia HR/Finance
If you are so talented and don't like the pay move on rather than moaning on here.
Very short sighted in today's market for engineering talent.
They haven't even contacted me for salary confirmation.... just more of the same. My thought is that they are still writing out the compensation plan. They started by retaining and securing the actors of the transition, then they'll be looking at the rest of employees and consultants. TBD....
maybe, but they will need to announce some guidelines to when and if there are bonuses.
Don't you think that maybe profits are required before asking for bonuses?
