After 16 years I was terminated without any severance or health care. The letter said since they notified me (WARN) that our my campus could be closing in 2018 there are no benefits offered. Funny that letter was followed by another that said ignore it. Should of taken the pay out when EDMC asked full timers to leave early. It was week of pay for every year of service. Glad I hung in there for the students, they have been the high point of a c-appy couple years with EDMC and DCEH. Half my life dedicated to this college and my mistake was expecting a little respect. At least I sc-apped and saved for the next year of looking for work.

That is sad. DCF has no heart for employees, God will judge so we don’t need to even think about it. Pastors at DCF churches will be preaching on it this weekend. Amen.

4tfz and 4mqh-Projection should have been part of your Psychology course but then again, you went to an EDMC or DCEH school so I doubt you are literate enough to have passed- as shown by your inability to use verbs or articles properly.

16 years, multiple Faculty of the Quarter winner, s-xually pursued by my boss...cut without mercy. At least it was EDMC so I got the severance...which stopped my unemployment benefits the day the check cleared. I log in here once in awhile “ to get my kicks before the whole sh-t house goes up in flames” Jim Morrison. Trust me when I say you are better off without them. And COBRA will give you 18 months of health insurance while you recover from the shock- that you should have seen coming but it still hurts- that these b--tards stole your career without batting an eye...
This is what they did to me but gave people three months pay that we’re laid off in June and July! Makes no sense and they don’t care! I hope the accreditation fall because they don’t care about the employees or the students! They need to be stopped.

An employer is only loyal to you as long as they need you.
As a former "loved" student who was "screwed" by EDMC and by extension son of EDMC and their facillitators all I'll say to this OP is: Your lack of mea culpa makes my blood run cold.

And THIS is why you leave these losers high and dry. Quit with no notice, screw them before they screw you. Screw “the students”, care more about your family and your own needs. God knows DCEH doesn’t care about either end.
