No surprise since Veracode was never integrated into CA and was easy to divest.

Atomic and Rally
@VZmKuhj-1qwo, I've heard the same thing. In order to divest a product or products you have to have a buyer. Apparently there are several products that Broadcom wants to get rid of, but so far no one is buying. It is kind of hard to sell a product that is losing money. So if you are on one of these targeted products the future is probably not bright. My guess is Broadcom will slash them until they produce a profit on paper, then sell them off to a s---er as soon as they get a bite. There are two other recent acquisitions that come to mind immediately. Take a guess which ones...
CA/Broadcom Burlington office is not connected to the Veracode office. Same campus (old Sun campus), different building. Perfect recipe for separation.
What happens to all the people that moved from Framingham to Burlington now that Veracode will no longer be a Broadcom product?
If you shut down a product it’s not a divestment.
“Asok said there will be no other product divestments.“
He said it a dozen times which probably means there are definitely other divestments on the horizon
Asok said there will be no other product divestments.
TQ for the update.
Any other product divested?
Lovely piece of work Broadcom, very impressive
Lol, and zero mention of CA. Clearly a regurgitated Broadcom press release.
Very quick
No, they made $950m on it. Nobody cares what CA paid. AVGO paid 18.9B and made back .9B. Now to realize the next 18B.
And by the looks of it made $300 million on the deal. That pays down some debt for sure.
