Thread regarding General Electric Co. layoffs

Larry - have you looked at the Org Charts?

Larry - have you really taken a good look at the organization charts within GE? Executives with no or few reports reporting to and executive with 1 or a few report reporting to another executive or senior executive with a few reports. Back in the goo old days at GE becoming and executive wasn't membership to a country club for life. To become and executive you would have to have at least a minimum of 2 subsections manager reporting to you and at least a total of > 50 people in your chain of command. Also you were not automatically given the EB title and perks, you usually had to prove yourself for a year. And then if you didn't perform, guess what? you lost your EB title and and the "set for life" perks that went along with it! Any thought on this Larry?

That’s it, Larry Culpable is going to give all his GE cronies “set for life” corporate lottery tickets and the turn out the lights!

In the end Larry will be the only one left with not a soul reporting to him
