Qualcomm is the Sears and Roebuck of the tech space. The modem is the Craftsman tool line. The rest will be shut down and the modem team will be hired by Apple....or maybe just some talented engineers. It's sad but true.

OP missed the most obvious comparison - Sears did a massive stock buyback instead of investing in itself, causing a death spiral. What is amazing is it took a decade to finally implode, but the failure can be traced back to that 2005 decision. Is Qualcomm making that same mistake?
Also make sure you write the test case such that doc has enough bugs . This is needed for market to find alternative to Qualcomm mobile chips.
