Read a lot of articles on the subject of what needs to be done to keep GE afloat, but this one was pretty insightful. I especially liked how it pointed out that the new leadership succeeded in identifying the basic problems of the company very quickly and made some initial necessary moves( lowering the dividend, splitting GE Power). I don’t usually like to praise the leadership and God knows it's going to be a long road to making things better at GE, but it seems that LC and his team are not afraid to make changes. Will those changes work, and how will they affect us, time will tell.
