Rumor has it that if your first line manager is trying to have you take a New role is because you on the RA list. This was heard more than once. by your VP

You are much more likely to "play nice" when transitioning your replacement if you are going to a better position in the company. The truth is the new role is a cardboard cut-out and you are transitioning to that "magical farm out in the country" where your parents took your pets when they became too much trouble.
We have already been given new seating assignments there has been so many RA's over the last few months. We started out with 5 full floors and now we are down to 2 floors and those floors are a ghost town most days. Its over, stick a form in IBM.
Analytics was basically a non-rev segment for IBM no matter how Ginni and co. tried spinning.
