The state of the economy will have no bearing on Altice doing layoffs. Some people must've forgot what they said about cutting $900 million in expenses.
In 2019, Altice will continue to implement their same strategies from 2018.
anticipate this;
*offering of more voluntary retirement packages
close down more facilities
*increase workload for the remaining employees
*introduce more unattainable metrics
*outsource more work
*activate a few cells of fiber-to-home to LI / NJ customers
*continue to stiff all their vendors
*refinance more of their debt
*and of course, make sure no other shop location think of going union or else.
Good point @VTirYdI-yxd. We can comfort ourselves all we want, but there is no sign that the ongoing practices will stop.
