The whole video is pathetic. They must think we are not savvy enough to know what is really going on in the world. We have a super low unemployment rate where companies are competing for good talent. Why settle for average or mediocre when you can have better?

Another way to make the company more effective is to tap into the amazing brain power and knowledge pent up in employees, invite them to compete internally to come up with ways to create new products and improve existing ones, and offer bonuses to employees who figure out ways to streamline process without eliminating people. Those ideas are there - were there. You had a vast army of people who wanted to help CDK do this but...whoops! you threw them out. But it's ok, now they can go to the competition and actively work to make those companies successful over CDK, since SOME companies out there actually want to grow, not shrink and writhe in pain while shrinking.
BTW - another word for 'competitive' is 'Mediocre. ' How about instead of competitive, choose winning?
Who would want to buy a company that is now 2.58B in debt? CDK has repurchased 1.8B of stock.. trying desperately to get that stock price up before the ELT exodus.... "We are focused on putting our head down..." Ha ha… not me. except maybe to duck the next round of layoffs. Oh.. and the "Upspeak".. or "High Rising Terminal"....plulesse… Avon calling.
I just watched this video and she is delusional if she thinks we buy into this c-ap. That layoff in July was about tenure and age for the most part. This company was paralyzed after that rif.
I find it amusing that the upper level id--ts try to pass stuff off posted here as rumors, when just about every point has come true (other than someone buying CDK -- nobody in their right mind would buy this company until it's at firesale prices, which senior management is diligently working on)
In Norwood’s CVR unit Management doesn’t want to give you room to breathe or to do follow up calls or note anything properly. They want you taking back to back calls and chats. The manager over the unit is a bully who thinks she is exempt from CDK policies, and the two managers in there are about as useful as a wet paper bag. They have no authority and must run everything through her. She’s also made friends with the HR rep in the building so any terminations are rubber stamped and accusations of policy breach are either ignored or swept under the rug. When you’re talking to customers you feel as though management has a gun pressed to your temple and they are ready to pull the trigger at any time. Our morale is even lower than other departments in CDK. However, nobody gives a damn about us.
How about you improve morale by giving us not just a "competitive" (ha) healthcare plan, but a superior one? How about you realize that the layoff actually made us less efficient and less able to do our jobs? Of course if you even know what most of our jobs are. Overworked, neglected employees tend to come to this site and to glassdoor and tell it how it is.
Wow! Does she know how to lie or what? I can barely stomach watching this. What a joke. Does she really think we believe her?
