IT dept we are presently finishing Wave1 starting Wave2 for the next 3 weeks. We have Turned over all related documentation of our app systems we do Run Support on. We were told after Wave3 is completed, TCS will be on their own. We will move over to doing project work & upgrade work of outdated app processes requiring refresh.
I am concerned this is not the real truth. That we are training our replacements, all to save ton of money by jettison old expensive IT staff with outsourced staff, that we trained. This may have huge short term impacts. Our area of IT is get lots of impacts from various places. I would recommend to all IT staff, to get Resume ready and have Plan B ready to go.

Most of finance is being outsourced to another company with a presence in Columbus and the rest to India. Some people will get jobs with the other company in Columbus, sounds like a lot will not.

I'm curious to know layoff rumors about IT generally, and FUSE particularly, if anyone has heard any.
