I get that they will look to outsource support in the very near future. How are they making decisions who gets terminated, put on transition, hired?
Is it based on ability, products covered, salary?

people who work out of Islandia are squatters, there is no chance they will leave that building even if an asteroid were coming
You folks in Islandia who think you are safe could take a good lesson from what happened to the UIM devs out in Colorado.
Maybe Wipro could be a good move? UIM made the SE switch over to HCL contractors a couple years ago—for like 6-7 months it s---ed with the teams not delivering and when they did it was not right—customers getting angry. But, once that team got acclimated it got a lot better and I really haven’t heard too much negativity.
@VTsCxGo-qsm depends on what you mean by support. Internal IT support? Probably Wipro, except for some key people. if you're talking about customer support, keep dreaming. Broadcom wants to focus on the top accounts. Those customers with multi-million dollar contracts are not going to pay to talk to some greenie at Wipro. They could ask their own people if they wanted incorrect, and often incredibly stupid, answers.
All to wipro f---*** hell
