It seems like the authorities in the EU have their sights set on making life harder for the tech companies. The investigation is still in a preliminary phase, but Broadcom can possibly face antitrust charges regarding the sales of chips in hardware used by satellite and cable companies. As we know, similar practices by the company have been examined in the US. Nothing has been proven yet, but if these investigations proceed, think that it could make some real problems for the company, not to mention bad publicity.
