There's still an entire session (Nov./Dec) to go in CY18. Watch for subtle staffing actions around Week 6 as usual. Of course, that's holiday time, but they have done it before. The jackassery never ceases to amaze. Real fireworks will revolve around the transfer of ownership completion, likely 6 months after based on WARN discussions here. Faculty and staff reductions, campus closings--if you can't see that some of them are coming--because they are actions that any sane person with a shred of strategic sense would do, then just maybe you can't pass COLL148 without someone giving you the answers.
New hypothesis: this is a trolling thread, designed to ramp up panic levels so that folks quit of their own accord. My guess would be either an insider at DVU Harm Orifice, AdNauseum, or Crackswell/Palm Pilots who wants a reduction in staffing costs. Get folks to quit, hire cheaper folks. Replace 'em with "visiting professors", student workers, or interns. We are building the DeVry of the future (before it collapses under its own girth). You ain't innit.
