Lay off is standard when stock goes down. The longer you are with the company the most likely you will be lay off. As long as you are under 40 years of age you are safe. Those are over 50 will be in.

Until ROCKWELL can figure out how to manage their System Integrators and Distributor channel they will always remain a manufacturer. Taking a role in that company other than a Sales Account Manager (who does nothing but hold a distributors hand all day) is short term, you will be laid off within 3 - 5 years.

They are laying off contractors as well. As many as 75 contractors have lost their contracts. Looking at their past record they let go the contractors and within few weeks re-hire new contractors with zero knowledge of their product. How is this even profitable for Rockwell?

I second the latest post on layoffs. A couple of friends working at Rockwell automation have verified the news.

Oct 16, 2019, several Rockwell automation employees where laid off. It is estimated that total of 200 employees across the country have been asked to leave. Some senior employees are asked to part their ways as well. It is very disheartening to see such a day after serving for 20+ years.

ROCKWELL is laying off from Sept to Dec 2019. One can expect the layoffs to come from rank and file members. Luckily, most of the company is now comprised of managers, so most will not be impacted. It won’t be until 2021 when Rockwell discovers that few actual workers remain.

We expect to have major lay off's in 2019. With the management team we have that work on short term thinking & have poor strategy and a delayed management decison making . Lots of powerpoints that they dont know what means and cant explain ,. lol
