Heard 35 Engineers at Harris getting cut. Old Duke plants McGuire, Catawba, and Oconee are going to be hit hard. I heard the organization proposed after layoffs is what was originally established at the close of the Progress merger but never implemented. Progress sites actually added staff after the merger so this is probably a long time coming. Not sure why they dont just close Robinson and be done with the layoffs.
Hope that @VN1KwTv-4ssm is wrong and that this is just a rumor. Does anyone have more info on this?
