According to the Q3 earnings report, SWN’s results beat market estimates achieving an earnings surprise of just under 20%. Although this situation is still far from satisfying, it’s a good feeling to see that the company made some progress. Hope that this is not just an accidental peak, but rather a beginning of a trend and that the company will perform even better in Q4.

Well isn’t that interesting news? It’s official now and the place will never be the same. The mole had been sitting on that breaking news for a while. I can’t imagine the pressure. What is so sad here, is that the original poster is more than likely a member of SWN management. Having to resort to pumping stock on a layoff board is so very very sad.

Agree with other post, hope they sell it at bargain basement prices so we can move to a company that creates value in action not fancy words/phrases (see transcript from Friday) that Silly Billy looks up on Google

Yet our VALUE PLUS stock fell to under $5.00. At these prices management should call it a day and sell the company to someone who can manage to get the stock up. Maybe at least another strategic alternative to sell the NE APP asset.
