AP, AR, Payroll left in woodland will be laid off

Most of AP, AR & payroll that is left at the woodlands office has been advised they are getting laid off by January 15th or the 31st (or sooner). The work is being outsourced to Malaysia. The few who didn’t get a lay off letter are managers and FEW key people.

Malaysia is surprising. In the past it’s always been India. Malaysia must be cheaper.

Micromanagement at it's finest!

Don't complain because you cannot have office supply, it is your raise. You should be thankful to have a job. Didn't you know that?

No idea if true but it's not called off-shoring it's called right-shoring. In our global culture that means putting work in the place it can be done cheapest at needed level quality.
