I overheard today at the office we might see some more layoffs sometime next week. Anybody knows more about it?
Or maybe somebody can hopefully tell me that it's just a rumor and nothing to get all worked up about (which is already too late?)
I really didn't need this with my already high blood pressure.

Good thing is tomorrow is blue jeans friday. There is no rhyme to when they are going to start laying off again. But those going next will be from upstairs. Then when they are replaced the middle will be cut and so on. Its a count down to end times. Go on your terms, a lot less stress if you plan your own exit strategy as opposed to the unkown of tomorrow. The labor market is hot, wages are up but are you going to get a raise? I bet not, you will be asked to hang in there...give another year and talk about it in 2020. By staying you are under valuing yourself. Doing what is easy isnt always stress free.
