No, there is not a hiring freeze, people from CA have been actively trying to be hired by other companies, the CA community is more active than ever trying to be hired, so what are you talking about
Hiring freeze for centralized groups went into effect around August, all jobs but PaySec, Veracode and APIM were pulled in September, ful hiring freeze went into effect a few weeks ago. Before the announcement there were 500 openings (as promised by BikeBoy) it went to 250pretty quickly the. 50 after that.
Future LDP was cancelled, Above and Beyond awards were frozen, new phone purchases and replacements are frozen, CA World was cancelled, day care will be shut down, and all contractor hiring has also been put on hold. Just to recap :-)
Health benefits for survivors of the carnage are getting worse, matching gifts are worse, health care discounts are gone. Not sure about the Pet healthcare coverage.
