Those that just got or will be getting a package, what a good time to take it and be thankful for the opportunity. With the changes ahead if you are not driven to succeed and one of the few that will get a chance the same result is coming. For UOPx this reduction was a great move and sure many more are to come. 2019 we will be smaller and way more efficient.

Apollo Global isn't in the business of buying education companies and continue running them indefinitely. Their business model is to buy companies in distress, lower operation costs to the bone, and then sell them to the new investors.

They keep the yes people. They keep people who do their bidding. They keep people who don’t question.
Doesn’t matter if your successful or not they’ll still get rid of you and this is probably posted from a managers that should have been let go years ago and for some reason still had their job.

If University of Phoenix wants to improve "Efficiency" then it should just admit that it is in the fake degree business and stop wasting money on pretending its anything but that ie faculty, course development. University of Phoenix is not competing against UCLA its competing against websites that sell fake degrees for $20. There is no reason should be tens of thousands of debt for a fake degree from University of Phoenix when other websites sell a fake degree for $20.
