Notice period + bonus time

Any feedback on HR?

planning to give notice soon but worried If they will kick me out before RSU vest date + bonus eligibility date. Would they allow me to stay until then or play a cheap trick of kicking me out one week before ?

Just do what the execs do and make up some b---s---. "I am pursing a career in comedy", "I want a life", "Traveling the world".............doesnt really matter.

@7ocx. Tell them why your leaving. Low pay, overworked, better opportunity. You are under no legal action to tell them squat. Just give your curtsey 2 weeks, be nice about off loading your assignments and that's the end. If they walk you out, they walk you out, your end date is still what you gave them.

I have seen people giving two week notice to go work at apple. Security removed them immediately and seized their computer, company phone and work materials.

This of course is Apple and there is lots of litigation also.

Double check before you bail. The last thing you want to lose is a bunch of RSU because you really did earn them

You will receive RSU if your last day is the same as vesting day (11/20) I believe for most. Not sure about bonus but I think as long as you are employee on last day of FY18 you should be ok.

HOWeVER. If you are leaving to go to a competitor (ie Apple) you will be walked out immediately and that would be your last day. If this is before 11/20 you will not get RSU ( I think) but not sure.

Layoff people got RSU rescinded so not impossible to take RSU back.

I would wait until 11/20 vesting date and give notice.

yes I have completed the efforts whole year as well as finished the review however there is a date to be eligible for bonus.. if you are not an employee on that date u will not get it.. hence the concern..

As far as I know, you're eligible for the bonus, since you've completed the AR18 performance cycle, for which you're getting the bonus. RSUs, I wouldn't risk it, the company has the right to end your employment immediately after you give your notice.. I'd wait until at least that...
