Vendors

They aren't coming back in swarms or will they? Coke, pepsi or any others?

I have a Schwinn exercise bike and a treadmill on order that is a week or two late ordered just before bankruptcy. I have no idea if we will ever see it. Appliances are also long past due. Not sure if vendors are not shipping, truckers are not trucking, or if logistics is simply frozen. No idea what to tell customers.

Coke, Pepsi, and Frito-Lay are the least of Sears vendor problems.

All lottery and western union sales stop immediately as soon as you are announced. All are pulled immedately!

Our Frito-Lay rep told me that our store was closing 2 months before we actually did. Some vendors may not want to service the stores in bankruptcy. Not just for fear that they won't get paid, but also that if the store closes, they actually have to come in and remove all product on the sales floor and give the store credit. It is in the contracts. All vendors had to do it when we closed.
