Hi everyone,
Does anyone have any information about our Prague office? I heard some rumors and i can see our colleagues leaving, does that mean that some people already know their fate?

@VKdiVW8-zsg I would say it's actually a pretty safe bet to apply to Prague offices. Even with the impending layoffs PTC and ITC will probably survive in some capacity or another, which is more than I can say for US locations.
@VKdiVW8-zsg Yes, why not?
Anyone notice all the jobs at CA Technologies website and linkedin have been wiped?
Lol.. you wanna apply next month after massive layoffs??

Prague knows. If you would have been brown noseing the right people like I have been for a few last years, you would also know. Now I can prepare for furure and not be in constatnt stress of uncertainty.
Its safe only for MF I guess.. not for everyone..
I have no real information but my opinion is Prague is one of the safer locations worldwide.
I have the same question - I guess we'll have to wait a couple of weeks unless something leaks here on layoffs dot com before things are announced. We'll see...
Sit tight for 7 days. You'll know
@VKdiVW8-hwo. It means that mainframe BU looks safe. What about others,..., well,... in 2-week time we'll learn everything first hand.
I have seen only non-mainframe so far, some from Security BU. But does that mean that our security products won't be supported as much?
What kind of people you see leaving, mainframe or non-mainframe?
I think people are leaving as the job market is strong in Prague and they don’t have much severance coming if they get made redundant. If anything I could see Broadcom investing more in Prague as the labor costs are lower than the US and there is a strong mainframe presence already there.
