I feel this is the start of Walmart buying out Advance. Advance has been seeking a buyer for some time. How will this work? Walmart.com sells something online for less than an independent can buy it from Advance and then have it delivered to the purchasers home by an Advance store. Then the customer will try to return it to the nearest store that might be an independent who has nothing to do with it. I know that they want to get rid of the independents, this will probably do it. How will the Advance stores survive just being a delivery service for Walmart. Will they deliver out in the back country for a $1.50 item? I don't see this working out for the stores. Just my opinion.
