Broadcom runs things very flat, lean management. Look at their most recent public numbers, $17b in revenue with 14k employees. That is $1.2+ Million per employee. Saw one post a person was on a team of people making 1 million. Sorry. Not worth Broadcom’s time.

@VHLVmFB-stt Irvine???? If you know enough about CA to know this... then tell us what is going on in Irvine now and what will be relocated there.
I am perfectly confident in being safe. I pray to Ganesha that rowdy sheeter VT is gone and do the needful. ITC is completely no problem.
I know for a fact Federal folks already know if they have a position. It may be verbal but the people that are being kept already know there position with BRCM and are carrying out heir marching orders.
A VP told me I was "low risk" but he could be lying
The only way to know if your safe is if a director or above has told you in secret. They know and not telling. Not a peep from leadership except for the GDL yammer posts in 3 months so it will be a f'ng m---acre in all offices.
Lol "everyone else"
I wish that were true
Islandia, Irvine and Plano all safe, everyone else will be RIF'd.
The delusional ones are in Europe and Islandia. Nobody is “safe”.
Chaps, we dont know anything so why doing so silly posts
Your Revenue per employee ratio is extremely misguided. The ratio is irrelevant when comparing different industries. Even when comparing companies within the same industry you have to know if a company owns its manufacturing or supply chain.
Are you located in a US office? If so, you'll be on the chopping block day 1 or within the first year, unless you are an SME.
Broadcom does things right by leveraging offshore labor. ITC is not totally safe but still much better than any US location. I for one am happy with this mentality... No more overpriced american developers and engg Staff.
I'm on a team that did 345mil this year and I'm pretty sure I'm still getting Rif'D.
