The focus is not on hiring millennials but on hiring cheap. Since most millennials aren't as experienced as older workers they can be hired for less money and that is why they are targeted for hire by many companies. Competent, experienced, and accomplished workers command higher wages. Inexperienced and less competent workers can be hired for lower wages.
Competence, experience, and accomplishment is out. Inexperience, mediocrity, and cheap wages are in.
There appears to be age discrimination going on in many companies. Its so apparent that companies are following the latest trend: focus hiring on millennials. There is nothing wrong with hiring millennials but its ridiculous to keep throwing out workers for being over 40+! What is with this craziness. Oh, but give it a few years and the tables will turn. The companies will have a new trend of: lets hire older workers! Lol
Don't age past 50, don't work at ADP for more than 10 years, and don't make too much money while you are working there.
Ok, everyone. Listen up. Now don't get old if you work for ADP. Try your dangest not to get old. Otherwise ADP will get rid of you.
Seems like it's a growing trend. ADP, Verizon, Pfizer. Shows a concerted move to get rid of an aging workforce, and makes it harder for us who took the ERP to find new employment, especially close to home in New Jersey. So I think that it is pretty relevant. Thanks to the OP.
So what? How is this relevant to ADP?
