Yes, Microsoft has utter failed the "keep it simple" and "do not fix what is not broken" mantras. The tons if unnecessary updates ruined Skype and made it too unreliable and buggy to use. Plus all the hassle and extra security checks and forced updates and over-consumption of RAM and disk spaces (very suspicious and shady) makes it just like a malware.
It is now much better to dump Skype and use alternatives.
@@VG8Q8Mu: Yes, TEAM is lame. It malfunctions all the time just when I got used to adapting to all of Skype's problems, they have to come up with a new version with the lamest name they could think of.
