Iraq order is only good news if we make a profit. I doubt a profit is in our future.
9E compressors used to be made in Greenville. Any 50 Hz machine can be made in Greenville. The leadership just needs make that call. There will be fair bit of aero machines being supplied as well. One would expect LM2500 to be supplied in decent quantities as well.
Why we cant install 60 Hz in this country?
Irak is 50 hz.
If GE gets a piece of this, all equipment will be made in Belfort. Good.
Unfortunately, Siemens will get the larger chunk of the order.
