A spokeswoman for Cogswell Education added that Palmer has no plan to sell DeVry in any timeframe.

"We are going into the DeVry investment with a long-term view focused on impact, quality and student outcomes," spokeswoman Natalie Berkey said in a statement.

The key word is ‘timeframe’. In the investment world that means three years tops. DeVry University will no longer exist and will be sold for it’s online platform with student population to state University.

Well, it's de minimis, so one buck.

I would love for someone to sell me 7.5 Million in operating capital along with a dying university for a buck.

But I think that I will get a Powerball ticket instead.

LOL, "investment." They're being given the company, the students, the accreditation and the infrastructure plus the bank of cash to keep it afloat for however long it takes to loot the corpse. They're not making any investment.

they really used the word "impact" in the press release? Didn't they know what that word meant in Devry missives about positions being "impacted"?
