I'm wondering if they are planning to just to show Kmart down entirely. They seemingly keep not mention Kmart in the talks. They keep saying they will shut down 150 out of 700 stores....okay, but what amount are Kmarts and what amount are Sears? I'm assuming they mean both locations because I know they are not 700 Sears left and that the last time I checked, between the two chains it would be around the 700 mark.

Maybe this is the last Christmas for Kmart and Sears. We just receive letters that we will not get our severance pay..got my vacation pay all at once and then got one paycheck oct. 15. Still 6 weeks to go. 😡😡😡 if you full time and been with the company a long time don't expect a severance pay... Don't know if this is legal....but then we are run by corporation and they can screw us.
250 remaining Kmart locations with 44 of those under review for possible closure.
I'm surprised they announced so little. I thought they would close at least half of the stores left (around 350). Guessing they are getting one more pump for Christmas and then that's probably it.
