I see a lot of wolf pack behaviours where "groups" are formed and target one or two individuals
They shade them, gossip negatively to ruin credibility and diminish their performance or contributions
The IPF system creates this environment as does too many people for few roles.
With the HR system changing now managers can promote their sheep without any challenges and position progressions without any justification other than "because I said so" which is translated from Business Need
Output of all of this the energy transition is real as is resources and human capital is less dependent on intrinsic value and delivery but rather how effective are you at power point, networking, and taking credit for others work.
50+ is still the target. There’s a switch that clicks at that age, disengaging the brain, and they no longer can add value. At least that’s the word from corporate America.
