Ave David, morituri te salutant !
"average employee" - that explains it...
Or just an average employee, who believes that the company should just follow the law? If I am fired, I'll just take my skills somewhere else. And I've been here for almost 15 years.
It's not Craig, sounds like an HR person
Craiiig Daviiiid ..
@VBoTYt1-hdg They are not cutting jobs, they are getting rid of people to have them replaced in India for a fraction of the cost. My dept in Wrexham is closing down yet some id--t sent out a email of a dozen new joiners today with us in the distribution list. Talk about rubbing salt in the wound so no it's not about lowering staff levels it's about lowering wages which is going to have the effect of lowering the quality of work the clients receive.
Is that you - David?
Well, but why shouldn't they? They got there, now they're making decisions. Job is a contract between you and the company, not a marriage. I understand it's stressful for many, but I believe they have every right to do whatever they feel is right for the business. Whag mismanagement are we talking about, I haven't gone through it yet.
And that the same Bozo's are in charge.
Yes, people are sad about people being cut, but I think the anger is due to the mismanagement and the fact that the jobs being cut are all going to India.
Sorry, but having read all the posts on this site, regardless of whether your claim is true or not, I am prety confident the issue IS solely that jobs are cut. Full stop.
The issue is not that they're cutting jobs. It's that they're cutting some of the most knowledgeable because they're higher paying positions. Then they have the audacity to somehow believe that outsourcing those jobs will provide similar levels of talent. Everyone knew positions would be cut, but hoped they would be cut logically. At the same time, they have been giving us numbers and statements that don't match their actions.
What would you expect him to do? Don't know the guy, but take any higher manager. Sometimes it's just time to cut some jobs. I read through the posts and I can see the sole most important charge is "how could they cut jobs", the second "I've worked in the company for x years". It is what it is; real world, would you expect lifetime employment promises? You could go at anytime, why would the company not have the right to do the same?
I misheard David Craig's pledge. I thought he said he would make sure that we would have the right tools to do our jobs.
It now appears he said that he has some right tools who are taking our jobs.
“We were making cuts by Wednesday”, shurely?!
I assume Mr Craig is going to Wrexham to explain why they are being shut down a year after being bought? Thought not.
"Rapped about it on Tuesday"
Did the company take a pledge towards its employees or was it a one way thing ?
Probably they wanted to count brown nosers in bold organization :)
Still the best James Bond ever
That’s classic
The moment I saw that pledge BS I ended the live stream.
Unbelievable kindergarden mentality.
Who thought that was a good idea?
Brilliant
