"A former intelligence official with direct knowledge of Broadcom's Chinese business ties, speaking on terms of anonymity, called the bid “a stealth infiltration” of critical U.S. infrastructure, including nuclear power grids, to advance Chinese interests. A Broadcom official did not respond to a request for comment"

The thing is : if it is so much about national security, I would be very interested to see if government network has zero broadcom chips. The old avago + broadcom, we are very dominant in anything bandwidth related, especially wireline.
The nuclear reactors in question are running CA's mainframe software. I'm not sure why you'd have a problem with this, our mainframe stuff is fine.
The 28 countries in the EU would never have nuclear reactors running ca software like the US. Funny stuff.
More meaningful in my opinion:

Europe just approved the deal, so obviously not that concerning
This article is nothing but paranoia, sensationalism and FUD. Fake news at its finest, move right along folks.
I'm just interested in my severance check. If they f--- this up for me I am not going to be a happy camper!
Very sensible to look at this. Anyone who thinks not has a particular interest.
Why is this nonsense and paranoia? It’s a possibility
This is pure nonsense and paranoia of the highest degree. Broadcoms intentions are clearly money based. CA is is a 1bn turnover a year company and Broadcoms want a slice of that. I believe it is that simple.
Spies
Welcome to the new age of espionage and warfare. Purchase and Infiltrate US companies that have a stronghold on Fortune 500 corporations and government entities and attack them from within. Who’s going to go after a corporation for a criminal suit then when they have been “cyber attacked”. CAs tentacles into the Fortune 500 once it’s strenght May now become its downfall. US government seriously needs to investigate and prevent this acquisition or it may open up a clear path for cyber espionage and sabotage in the name of capitalism. Would love to hear others opinions sans bike boy comments.
