Thread regarding Dream Center Education Holdings, LLC (DCEH) layoffs

Any information about the California campuses?

Does anyone have any insight as to what is happening to the California schools? Are the remaining ones expected to close by the end of the year? Will San Diego stay open? Or the one in Hollywood? ANy news to the one in Vegas? Or will it be sometime in 2019? No one is talking, layoffs at the end of the month, morale is bad among employees...students are asking questions as they can sense the tension. Many are concerned and worried that they are going come to campus one day and the doors will be closed. Many of us have those same feelings. Any info??

All chair/ditector positions get the axe this month.

The dean in hollywood has been sulking around about how difficult his life will be after it happens.

We’re talking the school closing though not individual jobs. Each individual position though, you never know.

Just 'cause you got training doesn't mean your job is safe. We had a big training about the stupid that they flew folks in for and then we got the axe about 2 weeks later.

Yes Same in Florida. Admissions just had new training sessions. I would think the company would be smart enough not to do meaningless training. There is supposed to be another round of layoffs either Friday/tomorrow or week 12 though.

There’s a brand new system going in effective Monday for the CA schools. Lots of training this week. Doubt they would spend money on a new system if they were closing.
