Thread regarding CA Technologies (CA Inc.) layoffs

scenarios

The best scenario: to get a retention bonus for 6/12 month to transfer knowledge to offshore , then to get severance package, all stock vested and looking for job while working on retention with Broadcom.

Second Best: Still a layoff ,just package and stocks.

Good scenario: Broadcom wants to keep my product and me with same title / salary , their stock / bonus etc.

Bad scenario: Broadcom ship my product with my guts to some services company like Infosys / HCL or maybe BMC and they keep me on the same conditions.

The worst scenario: like above, but I layoff will be in new company without CA severance package.

lol .. retention bonus... severance package, stocks ... maybe in the west , the rest of us can dream and start looking for a new job

i know in desperate times we like to make our options clear and thats good, but the truth is any of these situations are what you make of it, Ca has great people with great knowledge thats not easy to find out there. If you are not confident about yourself, use the remaining time to learn, so much knowledge for free inside Ca. If i had the Cash to run my own company id be out there trying to get as many Ca Employees as possible!
