Thread regarding Dream Center Education Holdings, LLC (DCEH) layoffs

Please.... will someone at the top have some decency and talk to us? This is beyond OLD and we are ALL BURNT OUT!

Just reposting this so maybe the corporate "boys club," (as all the old white men in most of the leadership positions at DCEH have been described), might see it and actually act.

Can one of you men please grow a pair and let the remaining staff and faculty left at your colleges make a sound decision about the future of their careers without constantly living in fear. This is no way to run any kind of business... let alone a faith-based education organization. No one has respect for DCEH at our campus anymore after the way they have been surprising us all with layoffs left and right of key positions needed to keep the remaining campuses afloat.

Everyone I know and am in contact with at our campus is ACTIVELY looking and applying to new positions daily while at work... we are even passing jobs around to our fellow coworkers who might be a good fit as we find them online. It's always sad when you take a lunch break and the highlight of your break is when your colleague sends you a text about an awesome new position at SDSU that just opened up!

I hope they go after Grand Canyon U next and DCEH crumbles into ashes... ashes to ashes... dust to dust Dream Center.

At the end of the day DCEH is just a job. There’s things wrong with what they do, lack of communication, among other things. If it’s that stressful go find another job. Don’t make your life miserable living in fear at work. Lay offs can happen at any job. I have been through them once before because of this industry. I have also left an employer without notice, and have also given notice. It’s never easy moving on but sometimes it’s best and is what’s needed. I’m personally ridinh this DCEH wave out as long as possible. If I get laid off I’ll move on and find a new job just as I found this one and the ones before that. Life has to go on.

Make a sound decision on your own - forget dceh -- they have one over on you if you act like you're begging -- there is a enough evidence this company is not going to look out for your best interest - so get another job already - it would be great if we could all walk out at the same time.

They don’t give a c-ap I’m part of the closing schoo and have me sitting until my layoff date with no severance! Get out while you can. Talk to your students. Run run. They bought us to pick us apart and the blame shouldn’t be on them it should be on EDMC! They ran this institution into the ground and didn’t care. Now the end is here.

You should have spent your time filling out job applications...rather than writing all that.
