You need to be a self starter here.
So much negativity here. There is no job security anywhere.
Well depends Management at the lower level dispatch ,Call center are pretty much not trained well in what they do with little or no education, not professional They expect you to produce, they are required to coach and develop they don't, Yet they expect improved results. Call Center 1st year or 2 you might be ok with the sales constant monitoring, s-xual harassment, micromanaging .The money and benefits are great 65,000 a year. Lots of forced ot up to 7.5 hours a week ,if you like that. However you are stressed out ,seriously harassed by low level management ,have to offer almost every product to sell on every call. Calls are back to back. Everything goes against your numbers /performance. A customer calls back same day or 7 days, customer surveys how long you are on a call, how many calls you transfer. I would only recommend going into Verizon with the thought its a stepping stone to something else. If you become trapped by the money you will be stuck. Its not a happy place at all. Most hate it but are financially committed.
