DH and gang are allowing the slow bleed to continue. Strategically removing the need to layoff anymore employees... that G&A number they planned at beginning of the year will be hit soon enough...

Is Devon a growth or income stock?
Excellent question.
Devon is neither a growth nor an income stock. Devon is a liquidation play. All assets will eventually be sold, debt paid off, stock bought back and employees laid off. The shareholder holding the last share of stock will receive a red paper clip.
I'm confused. Devon a growth or income stock? Looks like neither-for now, anyway. With the focus on reducing LOE and selling non-core assets, it appears management is positioning itself as an income stock. Is that what is being communicated to investors? I've sat through a bunch of town halls, and it's remains unclear-to me, anyway.
I love it! Oil is back up to where it was in 2014 and we still can't get our c-ap together to get a bump in the stock price. Up a dollar for the day then down a dollar in after hours. Time for the "captain" to captain a new ship.
Stockwise, could be worse. Could be CHK

DVN stock down when all other oil company stocks are up. Its like no one wants to get holding the stock when the buyback ends.
How's that stock buyback thing working out, Ties? Wall Street bows before your keen strategery!
Who is the G&A target?
