Came across this article earlier when I searched CA tech. It’s boasting about our great benefits like the CDCs and the parental leave policy’s - which are great benefits. CA offered a solid benefits package, Montesori day care, subsidised cafe, gyms in major offices, WFH opportunities, etc. Say goodbye come closing. I got whacked in the mid-may RIF, generous severance, 2 weeks per year of service (10 years in my case) i would suspect post close that is history for sure.
If I didnt get RIFed, I would be LOOKING hard. Thankfully i lucked out and got a better spot. I am worried about my CA family still there, p--p show coming in my view. Good luck CA people!
