"figure out why people are so upset?" That is hilarious.. they have stripped everything they possibly can from the employee.. I'm sure next on the list is the pitiful benefits.. Life, Accidental, ST/LT Disability.. wherever they can cut.. will be.

The visit from upper management today seems to have encouraged a few people to accelerate their job search. Who says management can't be motivating?
For employees in Hyderabad or Pune, this isn't a good sign.
Not to mention those groups needing backfills and the productivity.
As a manager I was told I could only hire infosys contractors going forward so yeah... it’s going to get a lot worse.
I heard a rumor today that all current job requisitions have been cancelled. if that is true do not expect those postiions to be back filled.

Had 4 of 7 from my team this morning.
a whole bunch already. Likely many more in the coming week or 2 once they know that the money is actually in their accounts. I'm actively looking, but won't jump until it's an absolute perfect opportunity and fit.
