Thread regarding DST Systems layoffs

Dst systems layoff legacy

It will be a dark one for kc, as it hasn't provided much outplacement support. The fed reserve is hiring, they are stable

DST is not working at all with Kansas or Missouri job placement people. DST is no longer mentioned on TV acknowledgements of community partners that have supported KC. The only thing left of DST in KC will be the letters that are still painted on the purple glass recycling dumpsters. IMO it's largely the leadership since 2010. I overheard in the BW 3 restroom recently, a person calling Mr. Hooley a financial r*pist. A bit vulgar, he was just a greedy hypocrite that couldn't grow the company so he grew the profits by cutting people. Very mundane performance, the board should've outsourced his job to India long ago.

If you look at the raises Dst gave it shows their level of care about retaining staff. The 1 to 2 % raises over the years were a silent layoff, that resulting in many people leaving. But I was friends with a mid level manager that received 10% + raises each year and had stock options thrown at him like they were wortless. The average employee wasn't treated this way

Yes, the never put out a WARN notice of layoffs or used outplacement ement. Odd, but it does reinforce my opinion that dst could care less about its people
