I heard rumors that intel were closing Xian site (imc site) is that true? I don't get it they were working amazingly hard, getting out 7480, 7560, 7660. Chips seem to be working otherwise the fruit company would not buy them...

@V3iMxlq Stated that Xian is the only remaining site in ICDG that has the capability to actually tape-out working chips (7360/7480/7560/7660). Many US/Europe site/team that participated in successful modem tape-outs were either closed or moved out of iCDG. If Xian site is closed, Bangalore being the sole execution team. This could me Intel will not have the capablities or abilility to tape-out actually working chips.
