Thread regarding McDermott International Inc. layoffs

Woodlands

Other than nostalgia of the physical environment in Woodlands, there is nothing else to fondly remember. However, this a stark reminder of how corrupt and inept leadership can ruin a multi-billion company. Unfortunately, many such corrupt and inept CB&I management has very well hoodwinked the MDR leadership also.

Best thing that MickeyDermott should have done on Day 1 was to can 90% of upper and mid level overhead VPs managers and directors. No or little value added, other than staring at spreadsheets all day. The remaining 10% know their stuff and are under appreciated.
