If you like being on edge about another waive if layoffs every 6-9 months because of restructuring and profit loss, this is the place for you. The people upstairs like to throw darts at a board to determine their next move. Leadership changes constantly which means staff restructure and layoffs constantly. They are playing with peoples lives. Even the best top performers are not safe. They came it hot this time. No effing around. Dealertrack was so much better before Cox. The culture at Cox is to constantly keep your resume updated.

I was part of their layoff in Aug 2017. And you are right, the place was a losing job. Overspending by the management. Too many chiefs and not enough Indians. The corporate environment was that of the good old boys club, if you didn't get on your knees, you had no shot. And some of the people their that were in IT, should not have been near a computer. They were not certified and at least part of them IMHO were dangerous and did not know their job very well considering some of them had been there for 8 yrs
