@drwj they cannot change anything and there is no additional info that's certain (aside from what was communicated in internal emails and to the press).
Let them know not to stress out - they cannot control it and that's it. I am taking the same approach, do not want to worry about things that are out of my control.
Keep monitoring this site from time to time and keep talking to people and managers at your plant. Sometimes things leak and sometimes rumors (if strong enough) turn into reality.
That's my two cents, I survived 29 years here, it was my first job after high school - I hope to retire here but I am not that certain since they are planning major moves. All what I know is that "Hachett" will be getting a fat multi million dollar bonus and he's on a mission to cut cost.

I have family that works there. They are all worried. What do you know that they dont? Will that plant close?
If you haven't received the memo and you do not work at the plant you better catch up on your education quickly - big changes are coming and it ain't going to be fun.
