Just want it implanted in our minds. You know. The last Labor Day sale. Just like when that ugly girlfriend breaks up with you. You end up thinking about her years later while stabbing yourself in the eye to distract your brain from that painful memory.

Although Labor Day is actually over it is not uncommon for a retailer or manufacturer to actually have a "Labor Day Sale" that runs the remaining week of Labor Day or sometimes the entire month of September. So even though SHLD screws a lot of stuff up the fact they are advertising a Labor Day event after Labor Day is over is not entirely outrageous. A lot automotive companies, other retailers, and other types of businesses are still advertising "Labor Day Programs" that run through the end of the month. If SHLD is still in business in October and still advertising "Labor Day Sales" then maybe that would raise an eyebrow.
