And we know CEO’s are never ambiguous or misleading. Btw, are you interested in some ocean front property n Arizona?

You heard wrong. Amazon is buying Pill Box and Dst health is trying to partner with pillbox. Our new ceo made it quite clear he will never sell. It’s in the town hall videos

It is possible that their only goal in streamlining is to reach the 40%. But doubtful. Why is it that managent has had minimal cuts in comparison with the other work force? They are very heavy with management staff. Did SS&C not do an analysis on the staffing? I agree selling is a likely outcome.

Ssnc is big on selling and marketing its services. Theres a reason there website has no mention of health or pharmacy solutions as a service.

They are streamlining them to make them more actractive to potential buyers.

Streamlining to sell or keep? If they drop unsuccessful products, and a large integration deal falls though, they can simply cut staff to make the 40% margin SS&C dictates? It's not clear to me they intend to sell, at least.

I think when they talk about synergies and selling between customers, AWD plays a large role in that. Specifically AWD integration with other lines of business. Probably not BPO since that's fairly low margin. I welcome feedback on any of that.

They are positioning DSTPS and DST Health to sell. They are streamlining them to make them more actractive to potential buyers. If they were keeping them, they would be placing their own management in the companies.

You obviously dont know what the BPO area does. Impossible to do remotely.

Healthcare makes money. The only question that matters is does ss&c want to be in healthcare solutions or not. If they do then right size it and tell the team do what you do with less people and do it better. If they dont, then offloading it sooner rather than later makes the most sense.

Nothing is selling. Most of DST Health will be let go due to loss of accounts. A small number will work remote until they are all gone. Get out now while you still have a job. It’s easier to find one when you got one.

There is actually a little bit of momentum between Birmingham and Amazon right now. Like every other major city in the US, Bham applied for Amazon's HQ2. The bid was extremely well done and while it didnt win, it got their attention.

2 months later they announced a 2000+ job fullfillment center near Bham. With Shipt selling for half a billion to Target.....who knows?

I just know that ss and c knows nothing about healthcare and i doubt they want to learn. DST technology isnt cutting edge but its a hoss when youre talking about high volume claim transactions. It would be a strange marriage but it would honestly be the best possible outcome for Healthcare.

Stone said in the town hall, they don't sell companies, so this would be "new" for them. IF they are shopping subs around, does that mean pharmacy and health are safe from the 40% margin death march? Will they gut them if they're trying to sell them?

I know they at one point openly expresed an interest in getting into the internet pharmacy biz.....but im not sure what they would do with the other 85% of healthcare?

I think their goal would be to run their own pharmacy and insurance claim processing for their own health plans ie their employees for example. Not necessarily run those businesses standalone. Not sure why they'd want to buy these companies when they could just license similar systems elsewhere though.

Interesting conjecture though.
